Lightroom arrives (woohoo)

At last I’ve got my hands on a release copy of Adobe’s LightRoom.
Let me say before I continue that I think this is a really nice product for the sort of stuff I need to do (mostly exposure adjustment / white balancing / metadata management / resizing).

I ordered it from Adobe’s shop on 22nd Feb, then downloaded the 30-day trial to tide me over.
Of course, just as I need to use it (back from Hurghada) … the trial times out.
So I check the site … the order is still pending, due for shipment on 1st March …. it’s now April, and I’ve had no communication.
I raised a case. This is promptly closed – apparently I’m a priority case, but there’s still no firm timescale.
I asked for a temporary key – apparently this is not possible.
So I cancelled and ordered through Amazon. It turned up in 2 days, and was £20 cheaper because of the delivery option.
